Some of the girls from school are going to take the Food Photography road and are leaving the kitchen behind. Wow, it goes to show you that not everyone wants to stay in a kitchen. I love that. and I love them for taking the class when they did. Everyone has definitely left an impression on me and I'm excited to see where we will all be in 5 years.

Can you believe it?

This is officially my last week of classes. Next week we have exams, the week after graduation and THAT'S IT. I fly back to San Antonio on December 20th...SO FUCKING EXCITED! The next chapter begins... in fear of jinxing myself I won't post that stuff here.

This Saturday my friend Laura is throwing her annual "Christmas the shit out of yourself party" so far, so good. My gear is going to be hilarious. Until next time.

A time of confidences

Wow! It is colddd. It happened over night too. I love the essence of this weather though, the warm drinks, bonfires, scarves, coats, board games, s'mores and Simon & Garfunkel which I am listening to now.

Oh, and if you don't know, I GOT AN AMAZING INTERNSHIP!!!! I inquired a few months back and was told that they didn't offer anything short term. Completely bummed me out and I didn't try getting anything elsewhere. I went in and volunteered 3 days, each time 8 hours. Well Tuesday morning I got an email from the owner who asked me back for an 8 week internship. Meaning, whenever I go in during the week I will have a 17 hour day. I also need to get a bike since I don't feel comfortable walking under 3 bridges at 4 AM.

My sleeping schedule is pretty...OUT OF FUCKING CONTROL! Oh internet, you are my trustee pal. Thanks for keeping me company.

Next week is gonna be busy. I have two 6 hour stages before school, Anna's dinner on Wednesday at some French bistro and then my Aunt and her best friend Steph get here Thursday night!

I haven't driven is about 120 days...but I'm making up by taking a 22 hour road trip to LA! YUP, YUP. LA bound January 5th. I shall be back on or around January 24.

I am more than halfway done with my program, meaning that in eight weeks I will be back in San Antonio. About to embark on phase 2. Shit is getting real.

Bummed

Very bummed about missing FUN FUN FUN Fest in Austin this year. So many fun bands! I was most bummed about Best Coast, Deerhunter and holy fuck! WASHED OUT! Luckily I'm going to see Deerhunter tomorrow night but still.
