about a week ago I started making a necklace for a friend of mine (Sable). I gave it to her on Friday night which is when we all went to Lava Lounge and got HAMMMMMER'D to celebrate her BDAY. I thought everyone coming up to me telling me my piece was amazing was just as drunk or being 0% genuine. I was even asked if I had a business and asked for the asking price. I was honest and let them know that I didn't have a business and that there were no other pieces for sale. All of them walked away saying "Well, you should consider it". Ok, considering...
Now, my friend used the necklace again and was approached by a friend whom I haven't seen in YEARS! He was always working on something somewhere, LA, NY, Miami... Tv shows, movies, celebrity hair dressings, editorials and such. Anywho--- He adored my piece and wanted to buy it off Sables neck. She politely declined. Well, today I messaged him on FB and asked him for his address so I can send him a piece. Keep in mind that I COMPLETELY forgot that he had a line out. A line that Bjork has been spotted wearing. OK OK I'll get to my point. He asked me to collaborate with him by making pieces for his fashion show for 2011 New York Fashion Week SAYYYYY WHAT?!?! Yes!
As you can tell, life is really good right now. Everything is just falling into place. I'm moving to Chicago in 3 weeks and I'm elated to start Pastry School! woop!
I shaved a part of my hair tonight, feels so light and so good.
Tonight I hung out at The Friendly Bar in Southtown, totally ruled. Ghost stories and Brewskis fuck being a Yenta
